  • Private Scentwork Training: Personalized one-on-one training sessions conducted at a client’s home or an agreed-upon suitable location.
  • Group Scentwork Classes: Structured classes designed for multiple dog and handler teams, covering various levels from foundational skills to advanced techniques, including Handler Discrimination and Scentwork Element-Specific preparation.
  • Workshops & Seminars: Specialized events focusing on particular aspects of scentwork, skill development, or related topics for in-depth learning.
  • Scentwork Trial Hosting: Organizing and hosting official or unofficial scentwork trials, providing a competitive or evaluative environment for dog and handler teams.

We may, at our sole discretion, introduce new services or modify existing ones in the future. These potential future offerings may include, but are not limited to, online scentwork training or consultations via platforms such as Zoom, and the sale of training-related products or services through an e-commerce platform. Any new services or modifications will be subject to these Terms of Service, or updated Terms, upon their introduction.

All services provided by SuperK9 Search are delivered by experienced and knowledgeable instructors who adhere to our high standards for effective training methodologies that prioritize the well-being and partnership between handler and dog.

  1. Client Responsibilities & Conduct

By engaging with SuperK9 Search for Services, or by using our Website, you agree to the following responsibilities and standards of conduct:

  • Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during any registration, booking, or communication process, and to update such information promptly as necessary.
  • Dog Health & Safety Disclosure:
    • You are solely responsible for the health, well-being, and vaccination status of your dog. You must ensure your dog is fit for training activities and does not pose a health risk to other dogs or individuals.
    • You agree to promptly disclose any known aggressive tendencies, significant behavioral challenges, or health conditions of your dog prior to, or at any point during, participation in any Services.
  • Dog Behavior & Safety at All Times: You acknowledge and agree that you are fully responsible for your dog’s behavior, safety, and control at all times, including during training sessions, classes, workshops, trials, and while on any premises associated with SuperK9 Search Services. You agree to adhere to all safety protocols and instructions provided by SuperK9 Search instructors to ensure a safe environment for all participants.
  • Handler Conduct: You agree to act respectfully and professionally towards SuperK9 Search instructors, staff, other clients, their dogs, and any property during all interactions and events. Disruptive, abusive, or unsafe behavior will not be tolerated.
  • Timeliness & Preparation: You are expected to be punctual for all scheduled private lessons, group classes, workshops, and trials.
  • Required Equipment: You agree to provide all necessary and agreed-upon training equipment (e.g., appropriate collar/harness, leash, high-value treats/rewards, and scentwork gear) as required for your scheduled Services.
  1. Payment, Cancellations, and Refunds

This section outlines the financial terms and policies for all SuperK9 Search Services:

  • Pricing: The pricing for all Services, including private lessons, group classes, workshops, seminars, and scentwork trial entries, will be clearly communicated to you prior to booking or registration.
  • Payment Terms: Payment for Services is due as specified at the time of booking or registration. Accepted payment methods will be detailed on our Website or during the booking process. All fees are quoted in United States Dollars (USD).
  • Cancellation Policy:
    • Private Scentwork Training Sessions:
      • A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for any cancellation or rescheduling of a private training session. If notice is provided within this required timeframe, the session can be rescheduled at no additional cost or a full refund will be issued.
      • If notice is provided with less than 48 hours’ but more than 24 hours’ notice, a cancellation fee of 50% of the session fee may be applied, or the session may be forfeited, at SuperK9 Search’s discretion.
      • If notice is provided with less than 24 hours’ notice, or in the case of a “no-show,” the session will be forfeited entirely, and no refund or reschedule will be offered for that session.
    • Trainer Cancellation/Rescheduling: In the event that SuperK9 Search (the Trainer) needs to cancel or reschedule a session due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, emergency, inclement weather), the Client will be notified as soon as possible. In such cases, the session will be fully refunded or rescheduled at no additional cost to the Client.
    • Group Classes, Workshops, and Seminars: Specific cancellation and refund policies for group classes, workshops, and seminars will be outlined at the time of registration for each individual event. Generally, refunds or credits for these events are subject to a minimum notice period (e.g., 7 days prior to the start date) to allow for rescheduling or filling the spot. No refunds or credits will be issued for cancellations made after the specified deadline or for missed sessions.
    • Scentwork Trial Entries: Entry fees for scentwork trials are typically non-refundable once submitted, unless the trial is canceled by SuperK9 Search or the host organization. Specific refund policies for each trial will be detailed in the trial premium or registration information.
  • Refund Policy: Refunds, where applicable, will be processed according to the cancellation policies outlined above. SuperK9 Search reserves the right to offer credits for future services in lieu of monetary refunds at its discretion.
  • Future E-commerce Purchases: For any products or services purchased through a future e-commerce platform on our Website, the specific return, refund, and exchange policies for those products or services will be clearly displayed at the point of sale.
  1. Intellectual Property Rights
